Communities are groups of people who share a common bond — school parents, a startup community, a sports club, a friend group, or colleagues. You can create or join a community and send drinks within it to strengthen real-world connections.
Choose someone from your contacts, nearby people, or community. Pick a drink from the venue's menu, add a personal note if you want, and send it. They receive a notification and can accept or pass. If they accept, they get a QR voucher to redeem at the venue.
Once accepted, a private chat opens between you and the recipient. They receive a QR code voucher valid for 48 hours, which they can redeem at the selected partner venue. The conversation starts from there.
Yes, and that's completely fine. If someone declines (we call it "No, thanks"), your tokens are fully refunded. To prevent repeated unwanted gestures, a 3-hour cooldown applies before you can send to that person again.
After accepting a drink, the recipient gets a QR code on their phone. They show it to the bartender or server at the partner venue. Staff scans the code, the payment is confirmed, and the drink is served. Simple — takes 2 seconds.
Vouchers are valid for 48 hours after acceptance. If not redeemed in time, the tokens are automatically refunded to the sender. No one loses out.
Yes. The app is free to download and use. You only spend money when you buy tokens to send drinks. There is no subscription or monthly fee required.
During the beta launch phase, invite codes help us grow responsibly. You can request one from an existing member or through our website. After launch, the app will be open to everyone.
Absolutely. ShareCareDare is designed for communities — startups, school parent groups, sports clubs, friend circles, neighbourhood groups. Create a community, invite members, and connect through gestures.
You control your visibility. When you check in at a venue, you choose who can see you — everyone, your contacts, your community, or only new people. Your profile is never shown without your consent.

When a guest shows their QR code, your staff scans it and the full menu price is released to your account instantly. You always receive the price you set — the 10% service fee is charged to the sender, not the venue.
No. The 10% fee is added on top of your menu price and paid by the sender. If your cocktail is 18 tokens, you receive 18 tokens. The sender pays 19.8 tokens total. Your revenue is never touched.
Yes. You can create staff accounts for your bartenders and servers. They download the app, log in with their staff credentials, and can scan vouchers instantly. No special equipment needed — just a phone.
1 token = 1 euro. You buy token packs in the app (via iDEAL, card, or Apple Pay) and use them to send drinks. Tokens are held until the drink is accepted and redeemed. If declined or expired, tokens are fully refunded.
A 10% fee is added to each drink you send. This fee covers the platform, payment processing, and keeps the app free for everyone. It's only charged after the drink is accepted — never on declined or expired gestures.
Your tokens are refunded in full — including the service fee. You only pay when a drink is accepted and redeemed. Zero risk.
We support iDEAL (for Dutch bank accounts), credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), and Apple Pay. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Safety is built into every layer. All users verify their identity. You control who sees you. Age verification prevents minors from receiving alcohol. A 3-hour cooldown prevents unwanted repeated gestures. You can block or report anyone at any time.
During signup, we verify your date of birth. Users under 18 cannot receive or send alcoholic beverages — only non-alcoholic options like coffee, juice, or tea are available to them.
All data is stored on EU servers (Frankfurt, Germany) in compliance with GDPR. You can export, correct, or delete your data at any time through the app settings. We never sell your data to third parties.
Yes. You can block any user at any time — they won't be able to send you drinks or see your profile. You can also report inappropriate behaviour, and our team reviews reports promptly.
